ENM Summit West 2027

Friday, March 19, 2027 – March 21, 2027

TBA · Seattle, Washington

About this event

Annual gathering of ENM-affirming professionals, educators, and community members. Workshops on clinical practice, education, advocacy, and lived experience.

Who attends

ENM conferences and retreats draw a broad cross-section of the community: people newly opening relationships, long-time polyamorous households, queer-ENM-coded gatherings, solo practitioners, relationship anarchists, kink-and-ENM overlap. Programming usually mixes introductory sessions for people in their first year of practice with deeper material for established practitioners — workshops on jealousy, metamour dynamics, parenting in polycules, legal exposure, chronic-illness considerations, and the like.

If it's your first ENM event, attending solo or with one partner is more common than people expect. Most events actively design for solo attendees and people new to the community. The standard advice is to read the code of conduct, plan a quiet hour mid-day, and choose 60% of your sessions before you arrive so decision fatigue doesn't eat the weekend.

What to expect on arrival

Most multi-day ENM events open with a welcome session that reviews community agreements, name-and-pronoun practice, the consent culture the event runs on, and the practical logistics of the venue. Programming typically alternates between large-group panels, smaller workshop tracks, open discussion spaces, and unprogrammed social time — the last of which is often where the most lasting connections form. Bring a notebook, an open schedule on day three for the inevitable “continue this conversation” coffee, and comfortable shoes.
