Hotwifing
Also: hotwife, hot wife, shared wife
A consensual non-monogamy dynamic in which a woman in a committed relationship has sexual experiences with other partners, with her partner's enthusiastic knowledge and often their active encouragement.
Hotwifing centres a woman partner's outside sexual experiences as a shared erotic focus for the couple. Unlike cuckolding, which foregrounds an erotic charge built around the partner's relative submission or exclusion, hotwifing is more often framed around pride, desire, and the partner's enjoyment of their wife being desired by others. The dynamic ranges widely: some couples keep it to stories and fantasy, others to LifeStyle parties, others to ongoing outside relationships.
The terminology is gendered by convention rather than necessity — the same shape exists with any gender configuration, and many couples simply call it an open or LifeStyle arrangement without the label. The word is most common in LifeStyle and online communities where the specific erotic framing matters to how people find compatible partners.
As a configuration it succeeds or fails on the same fundamentals as any non-monogamy: genuine two-sided consent, clarity about what is fantasy versus practice, honest sexual-health agreements, and respect for the outside partners as people rather than props. Trouble shows up when the framing pressures one partner into experiences they don't actually want, or when outside partners are treated as disposable.
