About ENM in Colorado
Colorado's ENM community is anchored in Denver and Boulder, with a meaningful Colorado Springs scene and a distinctive mountain-town poly community spread across Summit, Eagle, and the Western Slope. Denver itself has a large, well-organised polyamory community with multiple recurring monthly meetups and a serious affirming-therapist presence.
Boulder's ENM scene is distinct from Denver's — smaller, more academic-and-wellness-flavoured, with substantial overlap into the local meditation, somatics, and consent-education communities. The Boulder-Denver corridor functions as a single practical community in many ways, with practitioners frequently attending events in both cities.
The mountain-town communities are unusual: small towns where the ratio of openly-ENM residents to total population is much higher than in any major US metro, often anchored on a single recurring munch and the kind of cross-pollination that happens in resort and ski-town economies.
