About ENM in Florida

Florida's ENM community is geographically dispersed but real, with the strongest scenes in South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach) and Central Florida (Orlando, Tampa, the I-4 corridor). The South Florida community is unusually multicultural and has significant Latin-American-poly and queer-poly intersection; Central Florida is more middle-American in flavour with strong tourism-economy overlap.

Several long-running clothing-optional and consent-focused communities are based in Florida, particularly in Central and South Florida; this is sometimes adjacent to the polyamory scene and sometimes separate, and practitioners describe the local culture as relatively comfortable navigating both. The affirming-therapy network is reasonably developed in the major metros and thinner in the panhandle and rural areas.

The state's geography matters — Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville are all 3–4 hours apart by car, and the regional circuit treats them as distinct rather than blended. Local groups in each city tend to be self-sustaining; the larger conferences and retreats typically happen in or near Orlando or in South Florida.
